Fluency Direct is speech recognition and voice command dictation software used in various applications such as an established EMR, Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. This cloud-based voice profile software allows medical professionals to verbally create and edit directly into their EMR for faster and better documentation.

The SMA recognizes the multiple benefits that the Fluency Direct software could provide to fee-for-service physicians. In partnership with 3sHealth, the SMA’s EMR program provide physician access to M*Modal™ Fluency Direct software in acute care and fee-for-service clinics. Physicians working in both practice settings can maintain access between systems.
