COVID-19 Immunization Temporary Service Codes to Address Vaccine Hesitancy

Effective October 26, 2021, the following two temporary service codes are available to Saskatchewan physicians to address vaccine hesitancy:

  • 500A  COVID-19 Immunization Hesitancy Counselling ($33.75)
  • 505A  COVID-19 Immunization Administration ($40.00) – Updated May 1, 2022

Developed in collaboration with Saskatchewan Medical Association, these two service codes are billable by both family physicians and specialists. The service codes are temporary and the end date for the two service codes will be determined by the Ministry of Health in consultation with the SMA.
