PTSD and Post Disaster Population Impact
This is an online CME course provided by University of Calgary Office of CME&PD. It is not just a one-time course for your participation but an ongoing portal of resources for your point-of-care access. Physicians and other health professionals are welcomed to access this course. Prompted by the 'Flood of 2013', this open access course responds to the mental health needs of patients impacted by disasters. From a practical perspective, and within the context of primary care in Alberta, participants will be able to recognize the impact of natural disasters on communities and demonstrate the role of the primary care practitioner in PTSD management.
